Pesticide and Fertilizer

Pesticide Dealer Registration

The last 2 weeks of development included a deep dive into Pesticide Dealer Registrations, including the current process in KRS, what relationships Pesticide Dealers have with other parts of the application, as well as the registration and renewal cycle. (2019)

PBL Email Now Includes Webcodes

To better assist office staff, the email that a Pesticide Business receives when they are created or renew their license now includes the webcode needed to create a KDA Portal Account. Before, only the license number was included but a webcode is required to create an account. (2013)

Uncertified Applicators Not Showing as Active

This was a bug where Uncertified Applicators were displaying under Inactive section even though had an Active Status for the PBL in KDA Portal. (2023)

Tonnage Reporting Tab

For any Fertilizer Company, there is a Tonnage Reporting tab that will be list all tonnage reports submitted by the company or by office staff. (1852)

Supporting Documents in Portal for PBLs

If a Pesticide Business needs to add a Registered Technician or an Uncertified Applicator that is not currently in AIMS, there are now links to the applications on those respective pages in KDA Portal. (1750)

Creation of a Pesticide Dealer

The beginnings for the module to create a Pesticide Dealer was developed. (2074)

From the Land of Kansas

Website Redesign

The From the Land of Kansas website is undergoing a redesign. The homepage has a new look from top to bottom. The primary layout that includes the header and the footer that is on every page has been given a refresh along with the menu at the top. (1983, 1984, 1985)

Custom Pages Redesign

The About Us page, Contact Us page, and Interactive Map page are now updated with the new look. The Contact Us page in particular has a form for comments that will also capture contact information for the site visitor for follow-up. (1986, 1987, 1991)

The new redesign is live and in production with additional custom pages yet to come in future releases.
